Who we are
We source our matcha directly from a historic farm in Yame, Fukuoka — one of Japan’s most renowned regions for premium green tea. Known for its deep umami, vibrant color, and smooth finish, Yame matcha reflects centuries of tradition and craftsmanship.
As someone from Fukuoka, I started Yame Matcha House to share this exceptional tea with Hawaii. Our mission is to honor the cultural connection between Japan and Hawaii, inspired by leaders like Senator Daniel K. Inouye, whose family roots are also in Yame.
By pairing authentic, high-quality matcha with local Hawaiian ingredients, we aim to support small businesses on both sides of the Pacific and offer a product that celebrates heritage, community, and intention.
